Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end PO Placement, to delivery
  • Material Management: Source high-quality raw materials that align with brand standards while optimizing costs and lead times. Maintain accurate records of raw material inventory, ensuring sufficient supply to meet production needs and proactively addressing shortages or inefficiencies.
  • Costing & Negotiation: Lead cost engineering and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing without compromising quality or brand standards.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate daily with vendors, production timelines, and quality standards.
  • Planning Coordination: Collaborate consistently with the planning team to ensure timely placement and execution of new orders, addressing any potential delays proactively.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the QC process, ensuring all products meet Brunch’s high standards before shipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage dropshipping, shipping logistics, and the movement of goods from vendors to warehouses or directly to customers.
  • Production Calendar Management: Maintain and own the production calendar, holding all stakeholders accountable for key milestones and delivery dates.
  • Factory Onboarding: Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding processes for new factories to ensure accountability, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively manage lead-time issues or production delays, offering innovative solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Travel: Visit factories and material/component suppliers as needed to oversee production and strengthen vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in footwear production, product development, or sourcing, preferably with smaller-scale suppliers.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial, early-stage company, ideally within a direct-to-consumer brand.
  • Expertise in production planning, material management, sourcing, and logistics for consumer products.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with factories, vendors, and internal teams, including evaluating sample quality and make.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and build strong partnerships.
  • Familiarity with design, development, and business operations.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Google Suite and Adobe Illustrator.
  • A team player who values integrity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
