We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee daily activities across sourcing and production. Responsibilities include researching best-in-class materials, communicating with factories, coordinating the development of new products and managing the production of upcoming orders..

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Onboard to the Brunch Culture & Brand Identity to ensure proper education, and best care practices across sourcing and production
  2. Source and assess new factory capabilities, and understand best fit for our needs
  3. Develop factory relations that optimize for low MOQs & quick deliveries
  4. Meeting with and/or visiting footwear factories and material/ component suppliers
  5. Setup comprehensive factory onboarding processes, that allow for accountability and efficiency
  6. Ownership of the production calendar, holding all relevant parties accountable to dates
  7. Communicate daily with all vendors regarding each phase of development and production
  8. Maintaining tracking systems for efficient internal updates
  9. Negotiate with suppliers regarding costs, MOQs, and timing
  10. Uncover opportunities to reduce costs and improve price-value throughout the product creation process
  11. Troubleshoot sourcing, development and lead-time issues with the factories, ensuring you are offering outside the box solutions to problems or delays that may occur
  12. Create, update and maintain cost sheets
  13. Directly partner with design team in bringing our products to life:
  14. Material and fabric selection and sourcing
  15. Sample development
  16. Managing incoming production samples and prototypes
  17. Factory communications
  18. Research and identify new innovations in the footwear market related to fabrics, materials and construction, most importantly in sustainability and comfort

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a business or related field
  2. Experienced (4+ years) leader; preferably has operated in an early stage, entrepreneurial company and has experience working for a direct to consumer brand
  3. Experienced (5+ years) in footwear sourcing and production, specifically in a direct-to-consumer and working with smaller scale suppliers
  4. Familiarity with all business functions including design and development
  5. Experience communicating directly with factories, checking quality + make of samples
  6. Ability to travel
  7. Innovative, team-player with proven success in a constantly evolving environment with rapidly changing priorities
  8. Ability to flex between micro and macro level thinking and work with all levels of management
  9. A communicative leader. Able to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships both cross-functionally within the business and with external partners
  10. Exceptionally organized. Able to multitask and prioritize, highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through
  11. Must have exceptional computer skills (MS Office, Excel)
  12. Collaborator who values integrity, innovation, respect and excellence.
